James Madison University is seeking two summer helpers for the Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Shop. Relevant experience would be beneficial, but not required. A willingness to learn is essential!

These positions work up to 40 hours per week, start as early as April 28th and extend through August 15, 2025. Duties and Responsibilities:Assist skilled HVAC Technicians with performing preventive maintenance and repairs to include:
*Changing air filters
*Cleaning and servicing HVAC equipment
*Performing other work as assigned Qualifications:Skilled HVAC Technicians will provide necessary on the job training.

Required Qualifications:
*Applicants must know how to safely use hand and power tools.
*Applicants must be willing to learn new skills.
*Applicants must be at least 16 years old as of start date. Additional Posting Information: Conditions of Employment: Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check.

This is a part-time wage position working up to an average of 29 hours per week over the course of a calendar year with no benefits.
