challenging projects.What you'll do:Delmock Technologies, Inc. is
seeking an Information Technology Architect to join our team and
use advanced technologies to drive transformation in
mission-critical services. As a key member of our technical team,
you will architect solutions that incorporate AI, Machine Learning,
IoT, ArcGIS, RPA, and multi-cloud environments. You will be
instrumental in shaping our enterprise architecture, collaborating
with both business and technical teams, and ensuring that systems
meet business requirements, performance, and security
standards.Location: This is a Hybrid role, based out of Laurel,
Maryland 20707.Responsibilities:
- Implements and maintains policies regarding standards,
guidelines, and technology stack selection.
- Offers expertise in contemporary principles and practices of
architecture data management systems.
- Provides guidance on large system designs and data modeling in
the information management field.
- Offers expertise in modeling and organizing information to
support projects or information architectures.
- Guides on data and process modeling strategies.
- Focuses on transitioning from legacy to modern systems,
emphasizing information flows, data exchange, and standardizing
data translation services.
- Offers insight into future technology planning to align with
business needs and prevent inefficiencies.
- Contributes technical input to the Commission's digital roadmap
and cloud initiatives, aligning with new and existing legacy
applications.Minimum Requirements:Education:
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with
a major in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related
field. Master's degree preferred. At least twelve (12) years of
professional job-related experience with a bachelor's degree or ten
(10) years with a master's degree or eight (8) years with a Ph. D
degree.Experience:
- Proven leadership skills regarding development and promotion of
IT standards.
- Takes ownership and responsibility for a situation or issue and
lead it to completion.
- Must demonstrate advanced abilities to team mentoring and
possess demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication
skills.
- At least five (5) years of the required years of experience
must be in the direct supervision and management of major projects
that involve providing professional support services and/or the
integration, implementation and transition of large complex system
and subsystems.
- Must have led or been chief architect in major IT
implementation efforts.
- Must demonstrate a broad understanding of client IT
environmental issues and solutions and be a recognized expert
within the IT industry.Preferred:
- Experience with utilities applications.
- Experience with any of the following: AI, Machine Learning,
IoT, ArcGIS, RPA, ServiceNow, PowerBI, FileNet, Oracle Utilities
Suite, and Multi-cloud environments.Clearance:
- The ability to pass a background check is required.Recently
