Overview: We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to work on-site, assisting with the troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and related equipment. Key Responsibilities:

Field Service Support:

Assist in troubleshooting, maintaining, and conducting basic repairs on electrical systems and equipment, including transformers, circuit breakers, and LV/MV switchgear.
Perform diagnostics to identify issues, collaborating with senior technicians for resolution.
Support service calls under senior technician guidance, ensuring effective problem-solving.


Customer Interaction & Support:

Act as a support technician on-site, addressing technical issues and assisting with customer queries.
Participate in customer training on equipment operation and maintenance.
Maintain detailed service activity logs and documentation.


Operational Efficiency:

Keep accurate service work records, including time tracking and inventory management.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
Address minor issues remotely under senior staff guidance.


Health & Safety Compliance:

Follow all company safety protocols, adhere to OSHA guidelines, and comply with industry standards.
Engage in safety training and uphold necessary certifications.
Support on-site safety audits and compliance checks.



Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
Certifications in NFPA 70E, OSHA 10, or other relevant safety training are advantageous.


Experience:

0-2 years of experience in field service or technical roles related to electrical systems or industrial controls.
Knowledge of electrical systems, transformers, and circuit breakers is beneficial.


Skills & Competencies:

Proficient in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Familiar with electrical tools, test equipment, and service management software.
Excellent communication skills, capable of clearly explaining technical issues.
Independent with strong time management abilities in a fast-paced setting.


Other Requirements:

Occasional travel with overnight stays.
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics is desirable.
